This policy describes how the Mood Orbit app handles information. Mood Orbit is an emotional-regulation support tool for children and families. It is not intended to diagnose or treat a medical condition.
The app is provided by Aegitas Systems Limited, registered in England and Wales under company number 17381033. Its registered office is Bartle House, 9 Oxford Court, Manchester, England, M2 3WQ.

Depending on how you use the app, it can save:
Profile photos are optional. The app accesses the camera or photo picker only when a user chooses to add or change a profile photo. The selected photo is saved as part of the profile on the device.
Aegitas Systems does not receive profile or activity data. Because the app's design decides how that data is handled on the device, we treat it as health-related special category data under UK GDPR.
The app does not have a Mood Orbit account service or a developer-operated profile/activity data server. Profile and activity data are stored on the device using the app's local storage. Native in-app purchases are processed by the relevant app store and RevenueCat so purchases can be validated and restored. Purchase processing may use an anonymous RevenueCat app user ID and transaction information; Mood Orbit does not send profile or activity data to RevenueCat. The browser build is currently for development and is not intended for public launch; the planned public app distribution is through Google Play and Amazon Appstore for compatible Android and Fire tablets.
On Android, Mood Orbit disables Android cloud backup and device-to-device app-data transfer. Moving data between installations requires the user to make an export and import it themselves.
The data export contains profiles and photos, activity history, ratings, and sensory settings. Export is started by the user and shared or saved using a file option they choose. Import is available only when the receiving app has no saved profiles or activity data; it does not merge with or replace existing data.
An exported file is not encrypted. It may contain a child's name, photo, and emotional-regulation activity history. Keep the file somewhere private and share it only with people you trust. Once you save or share the file, the storage or sharing provider you choose handles it under its own terms and privacy policy. Aegitas Systems does not receive a copy through the app's export or import feature.
The app also lets a user open a report in their email app or share it using a device sharing option. The report is provided to another person or service only if the user chooses to send or share it.
The app does not include an analytics SDK, advertising, or in-app tracking. The RevenueCat SDK is used only for in-app purchase and entitlement operations. The app does not send profile or activity data to Aegitas Systems or RevenueCat.
Deleting a profile in the app permanently deletes its profile photo, activity records, and ratings from the app's local data. This cannot be undone. To remove all app data from a device, use the device's app-storage controls or uninstall Mood Orbit. This also removes data that has not been exported.
Deleting information from an export or from a destination where you chose to share it must be done separately in that destination.
Mood Orbit is designed for children and families. A parent or guardian should help a child set up and use the app, choose whether to add a photo, decide whether to export or share information, and make any purchase. A simple arithmetic prompt is shown before purchases and sharing actions, but it is not identity, age, or parental-consent verification. Please use a nickname rather than a child's full name where practical.
